Everyone was surprised
when Google announced the launch of its new web browser, Google Chrome. Advertised simplicity, speed and usability. And that is precisely what we have been able to corroborate that we have proven throughout the last years. Its address bar, called by Google Omnibox, has been a house brand for years, a tool capable of displaying Google search results, searches in our bookmarks and previously visited pages, presenting us with the most probable results for our consultation. The position of its tabs is also peculiar, above the rest of the browser elements.
Google Chrome is also ahead in security by incorporating a list of potentially dangerous sites. Another of the most striking features is its Javascript engine, much faster than any other implemented in a browser.
All this, together with an efficient private browsing mode, the possibility of opening various websites as applications in their own window and an unusual speed when displaying websites inherited from the WebKit engine, makes Google Chrome one of the currently preferred options for surf the Internet compared to other tools such as Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer.
