aTube Catcher is a freeware tool whose main purpose is to download videos from YouTube and other similar services, being able to store it locally so that it can be shared, edited or viewed without an Internet connection.
The main attraction of aTube Catcher is its ability to export videos at different resolutions and formats, and can even download only the audio of them. In addition, its intuitive interface allows the process to be carried out in a few steps and without complications. The features of the program are similar to those of other similar tools, but it includes a host of extra features:
- Download from various websites, including: YouTube, XTube, Pornotube, Dailymotion, MySpace, Stage6, Google and Yahoo.
- Ability to export videos to different formats: MPG, AVI, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, WMV, PSP, MOV and FLV.
The user will also be able to set properties such as the size, the aspect ratio, the number of frames per second or the video and audio codecs that will be used during the conversion. It also allows the possibility of burning the video that we have captured directly to DVD, not to mention other additional functionalities that the program includes, such as a sound recorder, a video converter or an option to take screenshots of what happens in our desk.
